Baggy Orange

Hey babes,

Laranja e amarelo são provavelmente as cores que menos tenho no meu closet, não que tenha algo contra elas mas simplesmente acho que não são as minhas cores.

Contudo, nesta vida temos que arriscar porque senão o que levamos de bom no final para contar? E por isso quando vi este top laranja achei que era um bom início.

Neste dia precisei de ir mais casual e confortável e por isso optei por umas calças mais largas e sandálias rasas.

Orange and yellow are probably the colors I have less in my closet, I don't have anything particulary against it however I think they just not my colors.

However, in this life que have to take risks or else what will have we to tell when we'll leave? And so when I saw this orange top I thought it was a good start.

On this day I needed to go to work more comfy and casual so I wore it with my fav baggy jeans and flat sandals.

There's a new brand in town!!

Hey curvies,

Andava eu nas minhas leituras bloguísticas no mundo plus size quando reparei que andavam todas a falar de uma nova marca que surgiu no mercado: a Pink Clove.

Já sabem como sou e tive que ir logo cuscar o site deles e a primeira coisa que pesquisei foi a questão da entrega (não fosse eu apaixonar-me por alguma coisita e me partissem o coração por não entregarem neste nosso pequeno retângulo à beira-mar plantado) e entregam para todo o mundo.

Posto isto, comecei a ver a roupa propriamente dita, maioritariamente a um preço bastante acessível, e encontrei coisas giríssimas. 

Deixo-vos apenas algumas para vos aguçar o apetite (não, este não é um post patrocinado mas apenas serviço publico pois temos, assim, mais uma marca para escolhermos roupinha)!

I was reading my plus size blogs when I saw that everyone was speaking about a new brand on the market: Pink Clove.

You know me and I had to run to their website and the first thing I checked out was the delivery issue (just in case I fell in love for something and they didn't delivery in this little rectangle by the sea) and worlwide delivery is secured.

So I started to see the clothes, most of them have a good price, and found a lots of cute stuff.

I just show you a few to raise your curiosity (no, this is not a sponsored post but just public service since it's great to know that we have one more brand available to choose our clothes)!

A Big Girl in a Skinny World

Hey curvies,

Como ando a tentar alargar os horizontes do blogue a outras áreas,  hoje resolvi escrever um pouco sobre a luta que temos diariamente para nós gordas nos afirmarmos num mundo de magros.

Não se trata apenas pela busca de roupa e afins, mas também, pelo esforço que temos de ter para nos afirmarmos a nível profissional e social pois a primeira impressão (e dizem que esta conta muito para a opinião que temos das pessoas) é sempre "olha a gorda", ou "coitadinha é gorda" como se tratasse de um pecado capital e tivéssemos condenadas à pena perpétua.

Mas será que essas pessoas já pensaram alguma vez que existem pessoas que são gordas e gostam de o ser? Aceitam o seu corpo como é, são saudáveis e não querem mudar? Não temos que ser todos iguais!

Felizmente que os tempos estão a mudar e vemos chegar ao estrelato e servir como modelos a seguir pessoas gordas, e no nosso caso especifico mulheres, mostrando que efetivamente o talento, profissionalismo e vontade de vencer não se resumem ao nosso aspecto físico.

Since I'm trying to make the blog a little bit more wide and approaching other subjects, so today I decided to write a little bit about struggle that we fat women have to have to make a statement in a skinny world.

It's not only about our daily fight to find clothes that fit and are fashionable, but also, about the effort we have to make daily in our jobs and in our social life just because the first impression we make (and people say that first impression counts a lot about the opinion we have of people) is always "look the fatty" or "so pitty she's fat" like we are commiting a capital crime and being condemn to life sentence.

Do you think that these people have thought, for once, that people are fat and like to be that way? They accept their body as it is, are healthy and don't want to change? We don't have to look all the same!

Luckly times are changing and we see fat people achieving success and turning into role models for fat people, and in our specific example women, showing that talent, professionalism and will to win are not related to the way we look.

Pure Love

Hey babes,

Muito poderia escrever aqui sobre a tendência de moda que são as riscas e os padrões geométricos nos quais se integra este vestido ou até mesmo sobre a dualidade eterna preto e branco e sua elegância, mas não vale a pena pois sobre estes temas certamente já leram muito.

Apenas quero referir como amo de paixão este vestido (que namorei bastante tempo em dúvidas se deveria arriscar ou não) pela sua cor, feitio e leveza.

É uma daquelas peças que se existisse noutra cor comprava várias (não vos acontece isto às vezes?) sem olhar para trás.

I could write here many things about the fashion trend that are stripped or geometric prints where we could include this dress or even about the eternal black & white combination and its elengance but it's not worth it since by now you must have read a lot about it.

I just want to say how much I love this dress (that I had an eye on for a very long time deciding if I should take a chance with it or not) for its color, material and lightness.

It is one of those pieces that if there were in other colors I would buy several (does this not happen to you a lot?) without looking back.

Uma questão de cabelos!!! It's a hair issue!!

Podemos usar a melhor peça que temos no nosso armário mas se estamos naqueles dias em que não conseguimos fazer nada do nosso cabelo então sabemos que nada irá correr bem.

Ter um bom cabelo e tratar bem dele é quão importante como ter óptimos looks e manter uma cabelo saudável dá uma trabalheira.

Hoje em dia não temos que gastar uma fortuna para que isso seja possível! Um bom shampoo e amaciador fazem milagres e para um bom acabamento existem os óleos milagrosos que dão aquele toque mantendo tudo no lugar e cheio de brilho.

Todos estes produtos estão ao alcance de qualquer carteira por isso arrisquem e tratem do vosso pois no fim é tudo uma questão de cabelos! :)

Nowadays you don't have to spend a lot of money to keep it the way you wish. A good shampoo and a conditioner makes miracles and for a great finish you have amazing oils available that give that final touch and are great to keep your hair style in place and shining.
All these products easy to achieve so I advice to take chance and go for something different but remember it's all a hair issue! :)
