Taking Shape Review

Hey, hey curvies,

Há alguns dias fui contactada pela Taking Shape, uma marca australiana que recentemente abriu uma loja no Reino Unido (podem ler mais sobre este acontecimento aqui), para rever algumas das suas peças da sua colecção.

A few days ago I was contacted by Taking Shape, an australian brand that recently opened its first store in the United Kingdom (you may read more about it here) that asked to review some pieces of its collection.

Esta marca, que possui mais de 130 lojas na Austrália e Nova Zelândia resolveu aventurar-se no mercado britânico oferecendo uma grande compreensão sobre aquilo que uma mulher plus size procura. Associando roupa trendy que favorece a figura feminina com assessoria em termos de consultoria de imagem e personal shopping.

This brand, which has more than 130 stores across Australia and New Zealand, decided to expand into the United Kingdom offering a great understanding of what fuller figured women are looking for. Joining trendy clothes that flatter women's body with image consultant and personal shopping advices.

Então e depois de navegar durante um bom tempo no seu site, decidi escolher quatro itens: uma canadiana, um casaco de malha, uma saia e umas calças de ganga.

So and after spending a good time in their website, I chose four pieces: the Nothing Hill Coat, the Vera Cardigan, the Bubble & Squeak Skirt and the Society Jeans.

Quando os recebi as minhas expectativas eram grandes pois adoro sempre conhecer marcas novas e estas não saíram forjadas pois as peças são fantásticas, além de super confortáveis, são super trendy e vão ao encontro do meu estilo pessoal como podem ver nas fotos.

When I got the my expectations were high because I love to know and try new brands and these were completed fullfilled since the pieces are great, super comfy and trendy and according to my personal style as you may see in the pictures I show you.

Aconselho-vos vivamente a perderem um tempinho e a passarem pelo o site da Taking Shape pois tem coisas fabulosas, de boa qualidade, de acordo com o tamanho e as preços apetecíveis.

I really advice to loose a little time and visit Taking Shape website because they have amazing stuff, good quality, true to size and price friendly.

Nesta coisa do estilo e da combinação das cores das várias peças que usamos temos muitas vezes dificuldades em saber o usar com o quê.

Muito fora de uso está a dica de que os sapatos tem que condizer com a mala! Deixo-vos um conselho: usem uma cor base e depois vai adicionando pequenos apontamentos de cor pois nem tudo tem que condizer, tem é que ficar bem! :)

In the style and color combination issues of the several pieces we wear quite often we have difficulties in knowing what we should wear and how to combine it.

Out of date is the old tip that says that the color of the shoes must match the color of the bag! I leave you a tip of my own: use a color as the outfit basics and add small color details because not everything has to match it has to go! :)

Já vos tinha mostrado este vestido há uns meses atrás mas hoje resolvi apresentar-vos um styling diferente da mesma peça pois é a versatilidade é uma das características que procura na roupa que compro.
O look de hoje é mais dentro de uma filosofia boho chic onde o destaque vai para as botas camel e o mix com o vestido de ganga com um toque de leopardo.

Today's dress has been shown here a few months ago but today I decided to wear the same piece but with a different styling because one of the main characteristic is the clothes versatility.

So today's outfit is more a boho chic inspired and the feature goes to the camel boots mixed with the denim and a leopard touch.

A primeira vez que vi este vestido foi no corpo da maravilhosa Carmen numa sessão de promoção que fez para a marca Voganté e apaixonei-me num segundo.

Mas porquê? Porquê???? Se viesse para o meu closet podíamos ser tão felizes!

The first time I saw this dress was on the body of the beautiful Carmen in a promocional session she made for the brand Voganté and I fell in love for it in a second.
