You already know my crush for statement necklaces and showed you this one a while ago however I never took photos of a look where it would be king.

A necklace like this demands a bigger simplicity from the others outfit pieces and so I decided to wear classic in basic featuring the necklace.

 Hey sweeties,

Uma das coisas boas que o mestrado em moda e imagem me tem trazido é a preocupação em cuidar mais de mim e não estou só a falar na roupa e no modo como me visto.

Para ser uma boa consultora de imagem (que espero ser brevemente) temos que servir de exemplo às clientes e por isso comecei a prestar mais atenção a dois aspectos que por vezes até me desleixava: a maquilhagem e o cabelo (este tema vou deixar para mais tarde).

Percebi a importância da maquilhagem e do impacto que uma boa imagem tem na primeira impressão que causamos nas pessoas!
Por isso a partir de agora estes vão ser temas também abordados aqui no blogue (não sou nenhuma expert na matéria) e para começar mostro-vos umas coisinhas que comprei na E.L.F. e que me faltavam.

Assim, à primeira utilização parece-me uma boa relação preço/qualidade pois os produtos tem durabilidade. Já experimentaram esta marca?

One of the best things that my fashion and image MBA has brought me is to increase the concern of taking care of me and I'm not only speaking about the in what I dress and how I dress it.
To be an excelent image consultant (that I hope to become soon) we need be an example to our clients and so I started to pay more attention in two things that sometimes I just forgot: make up and hair (about this we'll speak again later).
I just realize now how important make up is and how it may affected the image we have of certain person and the first impression we make!
So starting now this blog will also speak about these issues (I'm not a beauty expert and don't expect to become one) and to start I show you a few things I bought in E.L.F. that were missing in my  bag.
From the few things I wore until now it seems a good price/quality relation because the products last a lot. Have you tried this brand?

Outside My Comfort Zone - Challenge #23

 

Hey curvies,

Antes de mais Feliz Ano Novo!! E qual a melhor forma para começar este novo ano? Pois está claro com um desafio!

E este consistiu em quê? Em criar um look que tivesse por base uma saia lápis. Tenho várias saias e não sou fiel a um modelo. Vou mais pelo tecido e pela cor e por isso a tradicional saia lápis preta ainda não faz parte do meu closet.

Ora na ausência desta, optei por usar uma das minhas favoritas: uma com padrão leopardo que já sabem ser um dos meus favoritos. 

No que toca ao uso de padrões acho que devemos manter todos os componentes do look simples para não criar muita confusão visual e não ficar vulgar.

O resultado final foi um look ideal para um dia de trabalho ou para uma festa/cocktail ao final da tarde.

Before anything else I wish you all a Happy New Year!! And what's the best way to start this new year? With a challenge of course! 

And what was this time theme? To create a look based upon a pencil skirt. I have several skirts but I'm not faithful to a especific type of it. I prefer to choose it by the color or the material and so the basic black pencil skirt still isn't part of my closet.

So I just went for one of my favourite skirts that is pencil: a leopard print one that as you know by now is one of my favorite.

When we choose to wear prints I think we must keep the remaining things of the outfit quite simple in order no to create a visual mess or look too gross.

The final result was a look perfect for a day at work or a party/cocktail in the end of the day.
